Part-Time Senior Center Bus Driver Part-time position. The City of Springville is searching for a bus driver with a heart for service for the seniors within the Springville community. Candidates must be able to navigate directions successfully. Experience in transporting people is beneficial, and a basic knowledge of our service area is expected. Our driver is expected to drive a 26/28-passenger bus. You must have your CDL and Passenger endorsement. Typically, drivers will drive 2 outings a month most months and possibly a 3-day trip, once a year. Adherence to City, State, and Federal policies and laws is mandatory. Safety-cautious individuals are a must. DEPARTMENT · Parks and Recreation IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: · Senior Center Director JOB DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: · Capacity to work both independently and in a team environment. · Excellent communication and customer service skills. · Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions. · Strong problem-solving, conflict management, and organizational skills. · Ability to work flexible hours as needed. · Time management skills ensuring arrival to locations on time. JOB REQUIREMENTS Qualifications: · Valid CDL driver’s license PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
